10U -Krik Hunter / Bill Davey

10U -Krik Hunter / Bill Davey
Kirk Hunter and Bill Davey have previously coached 8U & 9U intramural and select travel ball for a local Anne Arundel County baseball program. Both will focus on the program philosophy of teaching the basic fundamentals of player development. The high school coaching staff will provide assistance to the staff with practice and developmental training.

11U – Steve Siani

11U – Steve Siani
Steve Siani began coaching formally from 2012-2015 as the JV Head Coach at Howard High School. He compiled a 46-7 record. In 2015/2016, Coach Siani was the Varsity Assistant Coach at Howard High School. Most recently, he was the head coach on the Maryland Pride 10U. During the day, Coach Siani is the GM/Instructor at The Reaper's Den, in Columbia, MD, where he provides private, team, and coaches training. He has worked with 30+ athletes who have gone on to play at the next level. Coach’s focus with the Rawlings Prospects 11U team is to teach the game the “right way”, win a lot of games, and help your player develop fully and reach his baseball goals. The high school coaching staff will provide assistance to the staff with practice and developmental training.

12U – Tim Rathell / Dave Egger

12U – Tim Rathell / Dave Egger
Tim Rathell and Dave Egger have been a staple in the local baseball community for several years now. Coach Rathell has over 19 years of experince coaching all age levels of youth select travel baseball. Coach Rathell's previous visit to Cooperstown, he coached his team to a sweet sixteen visit. In addition to coaching, Coach Rathell served on the Board for the Pasadena Eagles and as President of the travel baseball program. Coach Rathell will bring a strong focus on player development and fundamental training to prepare this team for the future transition to a larger baseball field. Coach Egger has previously coached the Brooklyn Birds and has been with the Rawlings A’s Prospects for the past season, coaching the 11U Prospects. The high school coaching staff will provide assistance to the staff with practice and developmental training.

13U – Chuck Smith / Beau Brown

13U – Chuck Smith / Beau Brown
Chuck Smith and Beau Brown have been a staple in the local baseball community for several years now. Coach Smith has previously coached 8U & 9U select/travel ball for the Crofton Cardinals and 10U, 11U, 12U select/travel ball for the South River Seahawks. Coach Brown has previously coached the Kent Island 10U and has been with the Rawlings A’s Prospects for the past two season’s coaching the 11U and 12U Prospects. Coach Brown led the inaugural visit of the Rawlings A’s Prospects 12U visit to Cooperstown Dream Park. The high school coaching staff will provide assistance to the staff with practice and developmental training.

13U - Bob Lamb

13U - Bob Lamb
Bob Lamb has over 30 years of coaching experience including time coaching in college and high school. Bob served on the high school staff at Annapolis and South River and at Essex community college. In addition, he has coached at various youth programs around the state, the most recent as, the head coach for the SYRA 14u who won the 2018 CBA Championship.

14U - Matt Shin

14U - Matt Shin
Matt Shin has been involved with youth baseball for over 4 years and has coached various age levels within our program. Most recently is was our 14u head coach that led his team to several tournament wins and a 2nd place finish in league play. Coach Shin is a graduate from Arundel High School and the University of Maryland where he served as a player / coach on the UMD Club Baseball team. Coach Shin’s players have experiences tremendous growth under his guidance and have found success both on and off the field. The high school coaching staff will provide assistance to the staff with practice and developmental training.

Steve Miller – current K.C. Royals Area Scout and former Mid-Atlantic Scouting Supervisor for Detroit Tigers. Former player at the University of Maryland, San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres. Head baseball coach at Archbishop Spalding high school 2002-2010. Current President of Baseball Operation for the Rawlings A’s Prospects and head coach of the National Team.

Charlie Chaffin – former catching coach at Hillsboro high school (Beaverton, OR) and Coppin State University. Current head baseball coach at Old Mill high school.

Brendan McGowan

Brendan McGowan – former all MET player at Archbishop Spalding high school and pitcher at Catholic University. Pitching coordinator for the Rawlings A’s Prospects Prep team. Current Vice President of Baseball Operation for the Rawlings A’s Prospects and assistant head coach of the Prep National Team.

Kyle Lynch

Kyle Lynch
Kyle Lynch - Graduate of the University of Maryland. Played baseball through high school in Vermont (Milton Jr/Sr High) and started coaching after graduating college. Served as baseball commissioner of GORC for two years. Helped form the Chesapeake Baseball Association in 2009 and served on their board of directors. Current head coach at Southern high school. In addition, the current Director of Baseball Operation for the Rawlings A’s Prospects and head coach of the Prep National Team.

Corey Wargo

Corey Wargo
Corey Wargo - Graduated from Northern High School in 1995 where he was a 3x all SMAC selection as a catcher. Went on as a scholarship athlete to play at East Tennessee State University. Has coaches and instructed on all levels of youth baseball and currently serves as the catching coordinator for the Rawlings A’s Prospects program.

Scott Peddicord

Scott Peddicord
Scott Peddicord - Graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County where he played baseball from 2006-2008 and was an All-Conference Outfielder. Coach Peddicord teaches at Mount Saint Joseph high school and for the past 9 years has served as the assistant head varsity baseball and football coach. Coach Peddicord for the past three seasons has served as the head coach for the Rawlings A’s Prospects 17u

Ryan Hunt

Ryan Hunt - is headed into his senior year as a student athlete at the University of Charleston, where he is studying Accounting. Coach Hunt for the past two seasons has served as the head coach for the Rawlings A’s Prospects 15u.

Mike Centrella, Jr.

Mike Centrella, Jr. - is headed into his senior year as a student athlete at Frostburg State University, where he is studying Sociology/Criminal Justice. Coach Centrella this past seasons served as the assistant head coach and hitting instructor for the Rawlings A’s Prospects 16u
